Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Roger Eschbacher made his first television appearance on the late-night sketch show "Fridays" back in 1981. Later he became a main company member of Los Angeles' popular "Groundlings" and has worked as a comic actor on many top shows including "Cheers", "Seinfeld", "Weeds" and "Parks and Recreation". He's also written animation for Warner Brothers, Nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network and live-action, host-driven shows like America's Funniest Home Videos.

His middle-grade fantasy/adventure novel "Dragonfriend" is now available on Amazon and elsewhere. He's also written two children's picture books, "Road Trip", and "Nonsense! He Yelled," both for Penguin.
