Although born in Chicago, Illinois, Jeff Coopwood grew up in Miami, Florida, where in high school he won the Best Actor award in Play Performance and 2nd Place in Monologue Performance at the I.T.S. State Championships. He was also a two time State Speech Champion, State Debate Champion, National Speech Finalist & National Debate Finalist. While obtaining a Bachelor of Fine Arts theatre degree from the University of Miami, he sang for four seasons with the Miami Opera. Upon graduation, he appeared across the country in the Broadway National Tour of "Timbuktu!" and then starred in several stage productions throughout the United States and Canada. An Emmy nominee for his voiceover work and a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, he holds a Master of Arts degree in Humanities with emphases in film, theatre and music from the California State University, Dominguez Hills. He has become particularly well known for his proficiency with accents, dialects and vocal imitations.
