Clint has acted for 20 years in film, TV and theatre, starring in films such as SUS, The Trail, Cherps, Mr Inbetween, Everybody Loves Sunshine aka Busted, Love Me Still and appearing in the likes of Unknown, Sahara, Agora, Mr Bean 2, Shopping etc. TV includes Fallout, Trial & retribution, Dalziel & Pascoe, Inspector Linley, The Commander, Lock Stock, Theif Takers, Prime Suspect etc. On stage he has worked with heralded directors like Mike Leigh, Micheal Attenbourgh, Jane Howel, Ian Brown, Mike Bradwell, Dawn Walton, Philip Hedley etc Clint won Best actor at the Screen Nation Film and Television Awards, Liege International Film Festival and The Texas Black Film Festival for Sus. It was nominated for best film there also. He was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award at the Screen Nation Film and Television Awards for Sus which has played in more than a dozen film festival worldwide. He was also Nominated for best actor for Ice Cool Reception in 2000 and Cherps in 2003 at the BFM awards. For his One man show Micheal X he was chosen for Time Outs best of the year in performance category. Clint Dyer runs and owns 3rd eye films. 'SUS' is the first film to have been made with Clint Dyer as a producer (with 3rd Eye Films). Clint directed the Olivier, Evening Standard, TMA and What's On Theatre Goers, nominated show 'The Big Life', bringing it to the Apollo Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue, making it the first Black British musical to go the West End. He then went on to direct and write 'Emergency' at the Royal Court Theatre and the critically acclaimed sellout show 'The Westbridge',again for The Royal Court.
Clint has also directed a trilogy of shorts films with Positive Strides UK. The first, 'Pukka' which won the Notting Hill Film Festival BCIA award, also played at Seatle Film Festival; Cannes Film Festival; BFM International Film Festival and has been bought by Propeller TV. The second film, 'One Of Us' won the Hollywood VSM (Very Short Movie) film award for best drama (2007), the best actor category at the BFM International Film Festival ( 2007) and was voted as one of the top ten shorts by the UK Film Council's "First Past The Post" scheme. It has also played at the Beverly Hill Film Festival, Edinburgh Film Festival, Cannes and has picked up by Propeller TV and Shorts International. The third film, 'Second Chance' has played at Raindance Film Festival (2009), BFM International Film Festival (2009), Clermont Ferrand Film Festival (2009) and the Mid Atlantic Black Film Festival(2009) As a writer, Clint has been commissioned by Scala Films, Sceen East, The Royal Court Theatre, Soho Theatre Company and The Word and Music Company.
